Strategic partnership between eAswaaq Misr and Tanmeyah to empower entrepreneurs and small business owners.

eAswaaq Misr, a subsidiary of eFinance Investment Group, announced the signing of a cooperation protocol with Tanmeyah, an EFG Finance company under EFG Holding, as part of both companies’ shared strategy to support and empower micro-enterprises and entrepreneurs across Egypt.

The partnership aims to deliver innovative, integrated financing solutions that address the needs of a broader customer base while enabling business owners to expand and grow, particularly across key economic sectors.

The collaboration reflects eAswaaq Misr’s commitment to expanding its digital services and strengthening its role in connecting the business community with an integrated financial ecosystem. Leveraging its advanced digital lending platform alongside its nationwide field network, eAswaaq Misr will work with Tanmeyah, a leading provider of microfinance and small business financing, to improve access to financing solutions for underserved customer segments.

The partnership is also expected to expand financial inclusion by reaching customers in areas with limited access to financial services, supporting local economic development, and creating broader access to financing opportunities.

Through this collaboration, the two companies will streamline credit assessment processes, accelerate decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and promote more sustainable financial inclusion. The partnership will also support wider adoption of digital payments and provide customers with a simpler, more secure financing experience, in line with Egypt’s digital transformation strategy and vision for a digitally enabled economy.

Commenting on the partnership, Adel Mubarak, Chief Executive Officer of eAswaaq Misr, said: “We are pleased to partner with Tanmeyah. This collaboration marks an important step toward empowering small business owners by leveraging the advanced digital technologies and financing solutions offered through eAswaaq’s platform. Together, we aim to simplify access to non-banking financial services and encourage greater adoption of digital payments, supporting Egypt’s efforts to advance digital transformation and financial inclusion.”

Walid Ramah, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tanmeyah, said: “At Tanmeyah, we believe empowering entrepreneurs is a cornerstone of sustainable economic development. Our partnership with eAswaaq Misr aligns with our strategy to expand our reach to new customer segments, particularly young entrepreneurs and start-ups, while supporting underserved sectors, including ride-hailing and delivery service providers. This collaboration opens new growth opportunities and reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, integrated financing solutions that meet our customers’ evolving needs and support the long-term sustainability of their businesses.”

The protocol is expected to create new opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners, strengthen Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, and contribute to sustainable economic development.

Islam Mamoun, CEO of eAswaaq, one of EFIG’s subsidiaries, revealed that the company has completed the first model in the mechanization process at the National Museum of the Egyptian Civilization, which has received great success since it’s opening, noting that it has also been applied in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and electronic gates are currently being added in preparation for their launch by the Minister of Tourism

Mamoun added that the company is also currently working on completing the 9 sites within the first phase of the project in “Hurghada, Sharm El-Sheikh, Islamic, Coptic, Haram, Citadel, and Saqqara” to be completed before the end of the year, and start mechanization in Luxor and then Aswan, provided that the development operations are fully completed within 7 months.

The project allows Egyptian and foreign visitors to book tickets for tourist attractions, museums and archaeological sites online and pay using credit cards or wallets via mobile, in addition to organizing access to these attractions through printed tickets, magnetic cards or through the use of a QR code on mobile devices.

He pointed out that the “Experience Egypt” application, which is being launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, is currently being completed and expected to be launched during the beginning of the last quarter of this year, as it allows it’s user to obtain the necessary information about Egypt and the sites that can be visited, as well as the possibility of booking tickets through it.
