June 2023, Assistant Secretary-General Kamal Soliman attended, a training workshop for handicraft producers that was conducted in Red Sea Governorate. The workshop, organized by the Ministry of Local Development in collaboration with eAswaaq Misr and the World Food Program, took place at Hurghada Media Complex.
The primary objective of the training workshop was to enhance the proficiency of producers while introducing them to “Ayady Misr” platform. Participants were acquainted with the platform’s registration process, as well as instructed on how to capture professional product photographs through eAswaaq misr dedicated photography team. The workshop enrolled 50 new talented artisans on “Ayady Misr” platform, providing them with a unique opportunity to showcase their exquisite creations.
Ayady Misr is a national platform operated by eAswaaq misr and under the auspices of the Ministry of Local Development, with a central focus on promoting and marketing local handicrafts. The workshop was attended by esteemed figures, including the Director of the Production Department in the governorate, the Director of the Media Complex in Hurghada, the Director of the Social Solidarity Directorate, and numerous handicraft producers from the region.
