May 2023, As part of their visit to Fayoum Governorate, a delegation from the Ministry of Local Development, and Ayady Misr platform, undertook a field trip to Tunis village, to closely monitor and evaluate the pottery products that are unique to Tunis village. This initiative aligns with the directives of Major General Hisham Amna, the Minister of Local Development, who aims to bolster and preserve the traditional craft and heritage products that distinguish Egyptian villages across different governorates.
The delegation included Mariam Serageldin, Director of the Ayady Misr Project at the Ministry of Local Development, Karim Adel, Head of the New Exhibitors Sector at eAswaaq Misr, and Dr. Howayda Medhat, Head of the Ayady Misr Unit in the governorate.
